I Found These at My Grandma’s House and Have No Idea What They Are

Grandparents’ homes are treasure troves of memories, nostalgia, and, sometimes, complete mysteries. 2. Quirky Kitchen or Craft Items

Some objects seemed almost whimsical:

  • Wooden devices with carved handles and little grooves.
  • Tiny metal presses or stamps with unfamiliar symbols.
  • Odd ceramic pieces with holes or slots in unusual places.

These were often specialized kitchen tools or crafting implements that we rarely see today — from butter molds and apple peelers to embroidery presses. It’s fascinating how a single object could have multiple practical uses before modern gadgets took over.
